Sundream Photography

Bio

For many years I have been working with people’s hair and taking their pictures. When the world went digital I traded my purse for a camera bag to be always ready for the most spectacular rainbow or the sweetest face.

Photography can be truly therapeutic. A photo shoot can heal old wounds and increase self-esteem instantly. Just telling people that if they think that they are not photogenic, it most likely has to do with a few snapshots that were taken during family gatherings, when most people talk or eat, is a remedy. Everyone is photogenic if lighting and posture are right! Be yourself and don’t hold back. There are four basic options when someone is taking your portrait.  Try it out! I'll show you how I do it:

Just a Sample Image1. Lips closed with a smile
2. Lips open with a smile
3. Lips closed, no smile
4. Full laugh

Photography is a form of yoga as it requires being able to bend in unusual ways to catch the best result and it contains all elements of the cycle of breath. Focusing before taking a photo is breathing life in, then we hold the breath during the magical moment of stillness, capture and oneness when the photo is taken. Then we breathe life out to be seen, highlighted and celebrated as we share the image. Allowing one self to be drawn into beauty, power, soulfulness and love is deeply relaxing and nourishing.

Photos connect us with our dreams, values and aspirations. Photos remind us to embrace life and trigger joy in a timeless way, because they make the invisible visible.

Sundream is the name of my life’s vision, which I received in a deep shamanic process two decades ago. It is about what the Great Sun dreams and sees for us humans and all life on this beautiful earth.
